What is the significance of high TMR??

I guess it is a requirement for application of TMR junctions in real devices such as MRAM, read-heads, see a review on the TMR theory and applications at http://neutrons.phy.bnl.gov/presentations/graphene/ZhuPark_MaterialsToday2006.pdf.
