How to calculate the channel length of the graphene junction given under buliders->custom->vnl in ATK 11.8 v ?
-
If you open the structure in the builder, you can press two atoms in opposite sides of the channel, and open the z-matrix.
The distance between these two atoms will be a good estimate for the channel length.

Thanks for the reply..
That means by this method i can calculate the channel width also..
Will that give a correct approximation also..
I am also unable to measure the thickness of the dielectric used under Custom>builders>graphene junction
Can you please help me out

You open this structure in the builder, and open the spatial region widget. Here you can see the dimension of the dielectric region.
Here you can also alter it.
Using the default structure from the graphene junction the dielectric regions is roughly 3.0 Angstrom.

Thanks a lot . :)
