Title: What is the mesh-cutoff

Hello.

 do not really understand what the definition of mesh-cut off plays. Who can help me?

Some additional information on mesh cut-off can be found in this tutorial https://docs.quantumwise.com/tutorials/atk_transport_calculations/atk_transport_calculations.html#atk-transport-calculations. Just search for Mesh cut-off section in the tutorial.
