Title: How to create the penta-graphene nanoribbons
Post by: nguyenkhanh on September 22, 2017, 11:47
Dear ATK staff,

As your last instruction in terms of making penta-graphene, it is so convenient to create penta-graphene from T12-carbon  using the crystal builder tool.

I tried to follow the way to create penta-graphene nanoribbons, but it is impossible for me to create penta-graphene nanoribbons using crystal builder tool up to now. Could you please show me how to create penta-graphene nanoribbons using the crystal builder tool?

There are four typical edges of penta-graphene nanoribbons as the attached image.

Thank you so much for your time!

Best wishes,

You may take a look at this paper, https://www.nature.com/articles/srep22672, on the unit cell structure of penta-graphene.
