Title: EPC -constant/ Eliashberg function
Post by: Dipankar Saha on September 14, 2015, 19:51
Hello,
I wanted to know__
Considering the inelastic scattering in a composite struct., is it possible to have a plot of  EPC -constant (along any particular direction)  v/s. energy(or, omega)?  How about  plotting the "Eliashberg function" with phonon frequency?

Thanks & Regards_

There is a new plugin to visualize the epc, see attachment.

We have not implemented the Eliasberg function, we are working on making dH/DR available from LowLevelEntities, in this case it will be possible to implement it by yourself,

Ohhh....that's nice..!!!  / Yes, it will of great help...if  you can implement the "Eliasberg function" ..../

Thanks a lot ...!! :)

Dr. K Stokbro,

I guess the fourth figure shows the absolute value of the coupling matrix elements... not the EPC_constant values!! (Again, EPC_constant is obtained, generally from the "Eliashberg" spectral function....)

Besides_
Can we see the "phonon linewidths" as the spreading of the dispersion curves?

Thanks and Regards_
