Title: gate electrodes
Post by: esp on January 15, 2012, 04:39
I have been reading over these tutorials and I cannot seem to piece together how to add a gate to a simple GNR FET type device ... am I correct that this cannot be done in the GUI and has to be done programatically?

Yes, you have to do additional small coding to add the gate.

Actually it can be done in the GUI. The best reference for that is, however, not the Graphene Device tutorial (which uses a Custom Builder), but rather you can see how to do it here (http://quantumwise.com/documents/tutorials/latest/BenzeneSET/index.html/chap.SET.html#sect2.set.continuum.regions).
