hi am anas mm from IITG i want to fuse differnet types of zigzag and arm chair nano ribbon in quantum wise tool................pls help to do this in quantum wise .....am so confused............... :-[

What exactly are you trying to do? How did you try to do it?

i want to fuse a part of an  arm chair nano ribbon with  zig zag nano ribbon(hetero junction)  to make rectification property........ but i dnt knw the python script for that.

For the construction of such system, the better way is to use the builder tools in Virtual NanoLab, rather than the script file.

There is a convenient "Custom Builder" called "Graphene Junction" included in VNL 11.x and 12.2 (in 12.2 you have to open Tools>Custom Builder from the main VNL window). However it's also fairly easy to build in the Builder itself. Not trivial, but if you first study some of the Builder tutorials you should get enough experience to insert different nanoribbons and use the Move tool to fuse them.

If the attached structure is the thing you were thinking about, then do as AB said.
