Title: conductance of p-n diode
Post by: anshul12 on September 23, 2012, 07:18
Dear atk team,
 i have calculated the conductance of p-n diode with diff. bais.
p-n diode------------ see result

case -1 when voltage =0.1
               conductance=0.0001485755735 s
case-2 voltage=0.2
                      conductance=0.000127235332 s
case-3 voltage=0.3
                     conductance=0.000113395903164 s
case-4 voltage=0.4
               conductance=0.00011626305409 s
case-5 voltage=0.5
              conductance=0.000122270068404 s
case-6 voltage=0.6
             conductance = 0.000120410512859 s
case-7 voltage=0.7
           conductance =0.000138593454082 s
                                                            my configuration is
left electrode is boron
right electrode is indium
central region is boron-si-In
method - dft
Ry =200
device method - krove
                                      this correct or not . and also please tell me how i can calculated the capacitance????????

It is indeed hard to say whether your simulation results are correct or not, because there is no good reference for the system under your study.

At the current stage, the calculation of  capacitance is not  available.
