Post by: ramkrishna on November 17, 2012, 06:11
Dear Sir,
Is it not possible to extract data for optical spectrum like other calculations ?

Which data are you interested in?

Dear Sir,
I am interested about the data of Fig 2 (real and imaginary dielectric constant Vs energy) in the http://quantumwise.com/documents/tutorials/latest/SiliconOptical/index.html/chap.Si.Band.html . I want to extract the data from this but could not find any option.

Ramkrishna

Right-click the plot, then choose "Export data".

Dear Sir,
In that particular plot, there is no such option.

I'm sorry, you are right of course. However the "Save" button in the Result Viewer works fine, and exports the data for the plot.

Hi,

I tried to export the data with save option, but there is no option to save data, as suggested formats are all just graphical ones.

Request suggestion on the same.

Thanks,
Sarang

The data export is in the Result Viewer, where you click "Plot" there is also an "Export" button.
