Title: Electrical properties of a device
Post by: itsvikassh on October 5, 2013, 14:42
Hello

i need a help.

Suppose i made a design containing CNTs or Graphene nanoribbons in ATK 12.2.8. Now i want to make a circuit based on that device like any logic device or memories.

Is it possible to import this device in any other CAD tool? or is there any method in ATK for power and delay analysis?

Most (T)CAD tools describe a device in completely other terms than with atomic resolution, so you can normally not take the device as defined in ATK and just transfer it. There may be certain parameters you can extract from the atomistic calculation that are relevant for the TCAD simulation, however this is also difficult since most TCAD tools can't easily handle novel device materials and architectures.
