Title: ATK 13.8 License
Post by: Tony on October 27, 2013, 09:07
I installed version 13.8 on one of my PCs and now I cannot get the server to allow a license CHECKOUT form that machine.  The log file has the error messages:

VNL FAIL: Version 13.8 of the feature not available
ATKPython FAIL: Version 13.8 of the feature not available

My floating sever license is good until late next year so that is not the problem.

Please help!

Do you have a license for 13.8?

Yes. A valid license purchased a few months ago.

I guess...if you are going to install and run the latest official release of ATK , i.e. , ATK 13.8.0; then you have to configure your license server once again...and after that you have to install a new license file for this 13.8.0 version... to actually get the access to the number  of floating licenses those you have purchased.... / If you have bought the license/licences recently...., then send the MAC ID of your license server once again to the admin team, QuantumWise.... may be they will generate a new 13.8 license file (.lic) for you... that's it.... :)
