Hello.....
Can we directly calculate the number of conducting channels in GNR, e.g. 9 atoms ac GNR??

Yes, you can plot the bandstructure and count the number of bands at a given energy. Or calculate the transmission spectrum and the transmission at a given energy will give the number of bands.
