Title: hydrogen passivation of III-V nanowires
Post by: Sumit2506 on July 18, 2014, 15:31
Hello Sir,
I am using ATK 13.8.0,
I have made a hexagonal shaped nanowire of III-V compounds mainly In,B-V using builder, but I am not able to passivate them by hydrogen by simply pressing that "Hydrogen passivation" ICON
While lots of papers available Hydrogen passivated nanowires....

Please Suggest me How they can get passivated.

Waiting for your reply

There is a separate tool to do the H-passivation in III-V. For that, you have to install Passivator_III-V from the AddOn Manager. You will get AddOn Manager within Help.

Even better - in ATK 2014 there is a completely new tool for passivating a lot of different structures. It's located under Coordinate tools in the Builder, and called "Custom passivator".
