Title: commands to get spin polarized current from I-V curve run
Post by: Sabyasachi Sen on October 18, 2014, 09:24
Kindly inform me how do I get current for separate spin channels from the .nc file of a spin polarized two-probe calculations with commands written for I-V curve calculations. Presently, with vnl I could only get net spin current in the spin polarized run.

If you use the IV-plot tool in VNL 2014 you can find a spin parameter to plot the spin up or spin down current separately.

Otherwise, both in ATK 13.8 and in 2014 use the current method to calculate the spin up or down current directly from the transmision  spectra
