Title: bilayer graphene nanoribbon
Post by: zuriana auzar on October 19, 2014, 10:21
Hi everyone..
i am trying to built a bilayer graphene nanoribbon.
i put a piece of graphene layers on the top of each other.
the distance of the two layers is 0.3nm. i am wondering if this is a correct way to develop bilayer graphene nanoribbon. i am trying to built AA stacking and AB stacking . really need advice on this.

thank you..

It seems to be a reasonable way.  You may take a caution on the interlayer distance. Once you prepare the initial structure, you may have to do a geometry optimization.
