Title: I-V characterstic
Post by: yogita taluja on August 7, 2015, 09:44
hello...
I  m trying to plot I-V CURVE for a defected graphene sheet . my calculation was done without any error but i m unable to see  transmission spectrum plot   nor I- V curve. In analyzer show conductance is very low in NAN S . Kindly suggest a way to tackle this problem as soon as possible...........

It looks like those two python scripts are identical and only build the graphene device configuration. They do not set up any calculation of analysis. Kindly attach the script you used to make the actual calculation and analysis.

Perhaps, the problem lies in the structure itself.... Right and Left electrodes are too small.... Even if I increase the length of the electrodes ("device tool" --> "Electrode Size") ; the image of the defective (+ 'N')  central region is getting included in to the electrodes.....!!!
Please check this tutorial.....,  it might be helpful___

Indeed your electrodes are not made of graphene - imagine each electrode repeated in the Z direction. Please check the basic tutorials.
