these are two plots: one done using the 1D projector plugin and the second one by plotting a cut-plan with the viewer.
superimposition is done by post processing, since at the moment is not possible in VNL.

Each parameter of each plot can be changed from the respective windows.
For the cut plane properties in particular, open the "Scene properties-> CutPlane" window.
