How to calculate impact ionization phenomena and avalanche breakdown in III-V semiconductors superlattice.

Here we focus on the electrons with a certain kinetic energy , collisions with lattice. It makes an electron in the valence band being stimulated to the conduction band , and those  electrons will participate in conduction.

I want to calculate electron-impact ionization rates in seiconductor and re-calcaulate them for new  structures.

Could you elaborate a bit on what it is exactly that you want to calculate?
