Title: Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert formula for spin transport?
Post by: Subhban15 on December 11, 2015, 06:33
For calculating spin transport is the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert formula used? I couldn't find any such reference in the manual. If not then kindly tell what is used?  :-\

Thank you! :)

ATK does not use the LLG formula. We simply use the Landau formalism for each spin channel.

You can't really compare them, they work for different things...
