Title: Passivation of Silicon nanowires
Post by: jeanmichel.sellier on June 24, 2016, 14:05
Hello Everyone,

I downloaded the last release of VNL (2015.1) for Windows 7 (64-bits). I have some problem when I try to passivate a silicon structure which I precendently created. In particular, when I do:

Open Coordinates Tools -> Custom Passivator

and then I choose the 4-th silicon passivation scheme, I do not get any hydrogen atom on the structure when I push the "Passivate" button.

Did I find a bug there by chance or I am doing something wrong?

I am following the instructions you can find here:

http://quantumwise.com/documents/tutorials/latest/NanowireDevice/index.html/chap.nanowirebulk.html#sect1.nanowirebulk.setup

Thanks!

JM
