Hi sir , i am working on spin dynamics , i want to calculate the gilbert damping in half metal . Is it possible in VNL-ATK.

Lambda (λ)  in equation 2 in paper DOI: 10.1063/1.3157267

Hello,

No, unfortunately it is not possible at the moment.

I suppose in theory we have all the ingredients, just like the article uses VASP we have the DFT band structure, and ATK has an extended Huckel component. But we don't have a simple function that does it for you, you'd have to perform all calculations yourself (as they did in the article :) ).
