Hi,
I tried simulating Magnetic Tunneling Junction with the specifications: Fe '6' layers for both right and left electrodes, MgO '2' layers and Global repetition along A as '2' and I get the following error..
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "c:/users/vinod/appdata/local/temp/tmpjdzrah.nl", line 601, in ?
runtime_parameters = runtime_parameters
ATKError: bad allocation
Terminated Abnormally
I've attached both the scripts and log output here... Can somebody please help me to rectify this problem...
Can I increase the global repetition more than '2'...

Bad allocation means that you have run out of memory, the system is too large to be simulated on your computer. How much RAM do you have?

Thanks for the reply...
I have 3 Gb RAM.. When I create Magnetic Tunneling Junction with specifications: '4' layers Fe - both right & left electrodes, '2' layers MgO - non-magnetic spacer, and global repetition along A - '2', the system converges. When I plot I-V curve, I get current in the range of micro-ampere..
Is it possible 2 get current in mill-ampere range...

Why would you want that? If you want a larger current you should probably invent a new spacer material :)
