Title: Refractive Index
Post by: berna on October 23, 2017, 22:34
Hi. I have calculated refractive index with the python script which is inside tutorials. But results of VNL and  the script are different. Could you please give us a correct code?
Both pictures are xx components of the tensor.

Please send the links to support@quantumwise.com, including the original post, as well as the original script in which the optical spectrum analysis object was computed. We will also need to know the version of ATK and operating system you are using.

BTW, which tutorial did you get the script from? The script at https://docs.quantumwise.com/tutorials/optical/optical.html gives the same plot  for the refraction index as the optical spectrum analyzer in the VNL.
