Title: what is the formulation for calculation of transmission coefficient in VNL ATK

I was looking for the formulation for transmission coefficient used in VNL ATK. Is it Breit-Wigner formula? can you provide related reference?

It is based on the nonequilibrium Green's function formalism, see
