Title: Builder and Viewer visualization Problem
Post by: dsahu on March 30, 2022, 06:56
Hello,

I could not visualize any molecule in the builder and viewer due to white background. I have tried for both QuantumATK 2021.06 and QuantumATK T-2022.03 versions in my system. My system specifications: Windows 11, Intel Core i7, 64bit,16GB ram, Intel Iris Xe graphics. If any one have any idea to fix and overcome the problem, please share the idea on it. Thanks in advance!

I have also the same problem. When I drag and drop any structure into the Builder or Viewer, it doesn't show up, just white background. However, on the scripter it can show up. What is the reason behind it?
Thank you for your help,
Serkan

To our great disappointment it seems the Iris drivers have some general problems for software like ours. NanoLab is not the only program affected, and it's not easy to solve. We are investigating further but also hope Intel might fix this in a driver update.

The only real work-around for now is to turn off shaders in Preferences, but unfortunately this removes some functionality and makes the 3D slower.
