In 2016.4 you should be able to find a tool in the builder called Z-matrix (under coordinate tools). If you select 3 atoms the angle should be shown between them

I was able to detect the issue with Sublime Text. It allows you to specify how spaces and tabs should be treated. I think most decent programming editors has such options, so if you prefer another editor, then you should be able to find some guides online.

3
My guess is that the original script contains a mix between tabs and spaces, which is something python has problems with. Some editors can show the difference between tabs and spaces, which might be helpful.

4
Could you share the both the 2016.3 and 2016.4 python files. This will help us determine what might the issue might be.

We decided to remove the Bandstructure 2D plot since the Bandstructure Analyzer does the same, along with the ability to do band measurements. We forgot to add the option to export the data like in the old tool (I have reported a bug about this). For now you can use the Compare Data tool for exporting the data in the same format as the old plotter.

I'm glad to hear that the issue somehow resolved itself, after you created a new project. Since we are not able to reproduce the problem, we will not investigate this further. Please let us know if the problem starts appearing again.

The labfloor has never explicitly had any sorting, but it may have happened by chance. I have created a suggestion, so this may be implemented in the future.

We are not able to reproduce your problem at the moment. Could I ask you to do the following:
1. Take a screenshot of VNL (where the labfloor and files are shown)
2. Take a screenshot of Preferences (located under the menu File->Preferences)

This may give us an idea about what the problem could be.

8
This happens because you have disabled the project menu on startup.

You can open the project menu from VNL by going to "Projects" -> "Open" in the menu bar. This option is only available from the Project View, so make sure to check the "Show on startup", otherwise you won't be able to switch back once you are in Classic View (I have reported a bug about this).

Should you forget to enable "Show on startup", you can reset all VNL settings by deleting $HOME/.vnl/main.ini

Hi!

Due to a menu issue on Mac we weren't able to add the menu option you ask for. You can however select classic view when starting VNL (see attachment)

The issue has been solved and will be part of the 13.8.1 release.
