Basic Builder Tips 1 - Importing and Exporting Files
This video focuses on importing and exporting files in Virtual NanoLab.
It is the first in a series of 3 videos where we would like to share some basic tips for getting started using Virtual NanoLab. Even though it is "basic tips" there is a chance to learn how to customize your own Virtual Nanolab, how to combine VNL and other softwares and more.

Reply to comment - Add New Configuaration is not covered
Thanks to our active users there has already been a comment, that the video does not show how to use "Add New Configuration". The reason is that this option is more advanced - not basic, because the database is so extensive that you hardly ever have to build something from scratch/a hydrogen atom
For examples on "Add New Configuration" this please try this tutorial: Visualize the LUMO state of a water molecule where a water molecule is build from scratch, or watch the video White Nano Christmas - Tutorial where Add New Configuration is used to build a snow weather!

News and Announcements / Christmas fun on Youtube
« on: December 7, 2012, 15:29 »
On Youtube you can now watch the making of a Christmas scenery in ATK. Hydrogen snow, a radioactive Christmas tree, with a star made of real (virtual) gold. You can even learn how to make it yourself in the tutorial version.
The benefit of the tutorial is that you get a lot of training in some basic tools and that you don't get cold nor wet...

Please download the attached file if you want to build your own Christmas tree.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

- And on YouKu!

In QuantumWise we are aware that the most of our videos demonstrate the Builder. However we also know, that a lot of people still watch the old videos that show other parts of the program. We suppose that this means a demand for videos, that show a total workflow in Virtual Nanolab, including how to use the Scripter, Job Manager and the many options in the Viewer.

Well here is one, and there are more to come after the next ATK release.
