Transmission Pathways
« on: July 3, 2014, 04:14 »
Hi, I had simulated the transmission pathways for graphene FET. However, when I tried to view the transmission pathways using 3D Viewer, the VNL became not responding and stopped working. Why does it happen? And how do I solve this problem?

Im using version 13.8.1
Its an FET system, with two electrodes and metal gate. The scattering region is armchair GNR.

There is no error, because the simulation managed to finish completely. But when I want to view the transmission pathway.nc file using 3D Viewer, my ATK stop running. A popup window saying vnl.exe stopped working will appear. Everytime. Do u know why?

not really, it should work properly.
can you attach the transmission pathways nc file and the input file? If not too large. otherwise by email.
Also your system information (Help>About Virtual NanoLab and copy and paste) could be helpful.
