Heat capacity of spin-up and spin-down electrons
« on: October 23, 2024, 10:12 »
Hi everyone,

How to calculate heat capacity of spin-up and spin-down electrons for a device with metallic interface?

Thanks

You can get the (electron) thermal conductance from the transmission spectrum. I'm not sure if heat capacity makes sense to define for an interface, it's usually a material property.
