vnl.exe does not open after installation on Intel Xeon

Hi
I try to install atk 2014.2 on Intel Xeon (R) E5-2650 windows 8 using trial license. The installation finished with no problem. However, I check the atkpython.exe and following error message can be seen :

Have you installed the 32bit or the 64bit version and what is your operating system running 32bit or 64bit?

Try running both the two vcredist*.exe files in the ATK installation dir (C:\Program Files (x86)\QuantumWise\VNL-ATK-2014.3) - maybe if you have a 32-bit installation on a 64-bit machine, only one set of the manifest files are installed.

I agree the DISM command looks dangerous, but it's a Microsoft tool, see https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh824869.aspx

Then try to reinstall the vcredist*.exe files.

Also, check in Regedit which OpenMP entries you have under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Win32Assemblies\Global - do you have any 9.0 version manifests, or only 10.0 perhaps?
