Installation questions

(1/1)

wuvera:
I downloaded and installed free VNL, before this I got license file from Quantum-wise upon providing them my email ID and the system mac ID on which I want to install free VNL. I used VNL-ATK-2016.1-Windows64 to installed the setup. Installation completed and I got logo of VNL on my desktop, but while clicking on logo are not getting any response. I am working on Windows 7.

looking forward your answer1

Anders Blom:
Try this:

* Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\QuantumWise\VNL-ATK-2016.1\bin
* Rename vnl.exe to vnl_backup.exe
* Make a copy of atkpython.exe to vnl.exe
* Place the attached bat file in the bin directory, and run it
* Report to us what is printed, if anything, in the terminal window that opens up

Thanks for your reply.

 I have tried as the abvoe. But I am not fully understand about what does "Make a copy of atkpython.exe to vnl.exe"mean.  So I treat it as " rename    atkpython.exe to vnl.exe". Then do the other steps and run the bat file. The terminal window "C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe" opens up and prints as follows:

Fatal error in MPI_Init: Other MPI error, error stack:

press any key to continue......

Anders Blom:
This is an unusual error.
Have you by any chance disabled all network cards...? Is this a real or virtual machine?
The only reference I can find to this error in the entire interweb is
