Dear QuantumATK,

QuantumATK has the OptimizeDeviceConfiguration study object, which automate the BRR method.
I want to optimize a two-terminal device under a finite bias, say, 0.2 V.
Can I use the study object to do the optimization?
If yes, should I just put the voltage in "New Calculator" and run the calculation?

Thanks for your help,

Jie Jiang

Yes, in principle that should work. Normally the geometry does not change much under application of bias, with notable exceptions for piezo- or ferroelectric systems of course.
