Dear sir,
Can ATK be applied to calculate the performance of optoelectronic devices, for example, photodetectors and photodiode and so on?

Hi!
Yes, ATK can certainly be used for calculating optical properties of materials, particularly semiconductors. See for example our tutorial on calculating optical properties of silicon (
http://quantumwise.com/documents/tutorials/latest/SiliconOptical/index.html/index.html
). The tutorial shows how to use the OpticalSpectrum analysis object to calculate the real and imaginary parts of the dielectric constant, absorption coefficient, refractive index, etc.

Thanks for your reply.
But I want to calculate the current response of electronic device to the illumination with different intensity and wavelength.

No, Unfortunately you cannot do that.
What you can do is to calculate the ground state electronic structure of your system, such as band gaps, bandstructure, band alignment, and so on.
