What is acessed date when we cite ATK-DFT in the paper

Dear everyone,
    Hello, i have an urgent question that what is "acessed date"? how should i provide it to publication?
By the way, we use the ATK version 2015.1.

When submitting manuscripts for publication, the "access date" in references usually refers to the date that some online resource was accesses, e.g. an online database of web page of some kind. Usually not needed for citing papers, but perhaps that depends on the journal.

Thank you very much, but the journal requires me to provide it , what do we provide?  And,we use the ATK version 2015.1.

You provide the date on which you read the manual (e.g. 3 March 2017)

Maybe, provide the release date of Dec. 1, 2015 for version 2015.1 is better.

Not if they ask for access date. The point of the access date is to check when the website was available online.
