Job failed in 2010.08

Dear Experts,

I have modelled ZnO nanoribbon in ATK 2008 and have set-up it as two-probe configuration. I wanted to run it on 2010 version. Evertime it says, 'This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. NanoLanguageScript execution failure'.

I do not understand what's wrong with the modelling and setting-up the system.

Even for ZnO nanowire (for bandstructure and DOS), I observed the same notice.

Would anybody please help me in this regards.

Sincerely,

Rajib

PS: I am running on Windows. I have couple of models, which I prepared in ATK 2008.10 and simulated on 2008.10 version. I just wanted to check these results with 2010 version before going to do some serious work.

In almost all cases like 1 out of 50 it is due to not enough memory, and Windows is not good at giving this as the exact reason.
The windows is currently only released in a 32bit version and hence it can only use 2 GB memory at the time, so I excepted this being the reason for your seeing this mistake.

However to make sure I have started the calculation on my own machine to see, if this is the problem.
