cannot read file names

in builder after importing a cfg, there are items at the bottom, since my naming of the object is long, i cannot read them ... should have mouse over to read full object id

I see your point (although, it's not really the object ID, is it, but rather the file name which is long, right?).

I'm not sure how easy it is to change the tooltip since we use a standard Qt widget, but I can look into it.

that may be but i thought i dragged a device cfg in there, and it showed all the objects at the bottom, the object ids were long so i could no read them .. maybe it was different files but i dont think so

Could be. Anyway, I have added a request to make tooltips for the stash items. Can't promise it makes it into 12.8, we're close to finalizing that version now.
