To plot the band structure using the embedded tool of the VNL, you should use the "save" option to save the data into a ".nc" file when performing the band structure calculation. If you choose the "print" option to print out the data into the log file,  you had better manually extract the data in the log file and then you can plot the band structure using other scientific plotting tools (such as GNUPLOT or ORIGIN...).

Could you present the input/output files and a figure of the screening capture for the errors in your case? It will be more clearly to show your problem.

Hi

here i am attaching two screenshots showing Transmission Spectra and Conductance plot

The first was taken when the Conductance Plot analyzer windows was in its normal shape. There one can see some plot in the Transmission Spectra plot

The second was taken after maximising the same window. There is nothing on the plot

Odd, and not reproducible for us. Is this on Linux? Which window manager? Try hitting Ctrl+R to reset the plot.

yeah... it is Linux (RHEL 5 - Gnome Desktop Environment)

Ctrl + R did no change to the plot

Is this specifically a problem for maximizing? If so, perhaps you can just resize the window large, and avoid the maximize button. I haven't seen this before, so I can't offer much additional advice...
