Can I use an external 802.51 Wi-Fi adapter with the same network for Server?

Good morning, Hope you are doing well. I am providing the context before asking the queries.
Currently, I am using licesend PC by fetching the server of the software. But it doesn't have the network connection. Idea of Temporary solution meaning - I am giving you the context. For example, I am using licensed PC of the software by fetching the software server, which is completely different PC. but it has port number. The server port number must be the same as the licensed PC.

Can I use an external 802.51 Wi-Fi adapter with the same kind of network for both the PCs? It will work?

You can run QuantumATK on any machine that can connect to the license server over the network. The client PC does not need to be "licensed" in any way. If your client computer does not have a network connection, it cannot reach the license server and the software will not work.

Thank you for your kind information. I have heard about some stuff regarding MAC Address and All. So I think MAC Address for wifi adopter and the ethernet cable is different. Currently the server is assigned with the MAC Address of Wifi Adaptor . So my question is that if I want to connect the server with license PC , That will work? License PC has ethernet cable and kind of decent network. 

Do I need to connect the server PC with ethernet cable?  in that case what will be the possible consequences?

Sorry, I don't understand the question, please try to rephrase what you actually need.

The basics are simple: you need a network connection from the machine running the software to the machine hosting the license. The license can be tied to the Ethernet or Wifi adapter, no problem with either, and in fact does not have to match the network you connect over. The MAC address is only used to ensure the license is valid for the specific machine.
