Non collinear Spin Relaxation
« on: August 10, 2025, 02:04 »
Hi,
I am simulating noncollinear spin using QuantumATK v2025. Even if I follow the exact tutorial provided by QuantumATK (https://docs.quantumatk.com/tutorials/noncollinear_intro/noncollinear_intro.html), my noncollinear spins are never aligned to the appropriate direction (from the Mulliken Population report). I even copied the code and rerun, but the spin alignments are all in  +/-Z. Is there anything wrong with the tutorial? Or I need to make some manual changes myself?
Please let me know. Thanks.

Pls share input and output, else there is no way to tell if you made some simple mistake. But it is an old tutorial, so perhaps something needs updating, we can check.
