How to replace the Old license with new one

Hi...when i try to replace the old license with the new one(By copying) into the directory opt/Quantumwise in Redhat Linux i get the following error "Access denied " .

Please help

Either you must do this as root, if the directory in /opt is owned by root, or the license file is locked by the license server, if that's running. In this case, stop the license server first (whoever started will know how to stop it )

Yeah i managed to copy it by logging into root But Its giving this Error Now.

(I removed the older license from the folder)


License Error: (Internal: 292 Feature: VNL)

(Err: 9) Feature not found

Is this a floating license? If so, is the license server running? It looks like either the license server is not running, or you have not defined the correct environment variables (QUANTUM_AUTOMATIC_SERVER_DISCOVERY=1). If you replaced the license file (with a new filename) you need to restart the license server.
