Hi all,
I followed the tutorial on the website for the Si (100) nanowire FET. But I cannot reproduce the transmission spectra. I get a gap between -3 eV and  +3 eV.
Thanks

You have confirmed several things by yourself:
i) is the size of Si nanowire in you calculations the same with the one in tutorial?
ii) are the atoms on the surface of Si nanowire passivated by hydrogen?
iii) do you optimize the atomic structure of Si nanowire?
iv) are the key parameters in you calculations the same with those used in the tutorial?

Hi Zh

I have checked the mentioned things, I went through all the steps again, to recheck if I had missed any. The output is still the same.

Your simulate system may be an intrinsic semiconductor nanowire, i.e., no charge is doped.
