Transmission spectrum for GNR device
« on: December 13, 2013, 23:47 »
Hi,

I was trying to calculate transmission spectrum of a GNR device with metallic and dielectric regions. The Transmission spectrum deviates from the normal (zero near fermi level)specturm of GNR.

I have attached my script and generated transmission spectrum. Can anyone tell me where I am wrong?

Thanks,
-Arya

The gate will tend to act like doping. But note that your transmission is very small anyway - normally for a zigzag ribbon it's of the order 1, so 100 times more than you have.
