Graphene MOSFET
« on: December 15, 2014, 10:56 »
Hi there,

I am new at Quantumwise VNL. I am trying to build a Graphene MOSFET. I had taken graphene from database and then repeated it along B & A axes. Now I didn't get how to define electrodes.

Please help me.

Did you check the tutorials on the website? http://quantumwise.com/publications/tutorials
from Getting started to specific Graphene tutorials here http://quantumwise.com/publications/tutorials/itemlist/category/45-graphene-and-others-2d-materials
where you can find a "Graphene junction device - a nanoscale transistor" one.

You can easily follow these tutorials and apply the main concept to your system for the creation of the electrodes and so on.

I had gone through that sir. But i didn't get how to use a graphene in my GMOSFET. In the tutorial GNR has been used but I have to use a Graphene.
I tried to use Graphene by taking it from the database and then i repeated in 2 direction to get a sheet of Graphene. But after that I tried to  convert it into device but its not working. I don't know where I am wrong.
