error on Demo version 13.8.2

Hi Dear ATK users,

I've installed ATK Demo on win7, 64 bit but after installation this error appeared, I do every things such as restart, uninstall and install it again etc. but didn't work!



License Error: (Internal: 431 Feature: VNL)

[NETWORK] 6200@localhost - (Err: 15) Unable to connect to license server

Do you have a license for ATK? Otherwise it will not start... You can get a demo license from our website, but then you should download and use version 2014 which has a lot of new features anyway!

Thanks for your response, yes I have.
in fact I installed ATK on Virtual server, is it ok for ATK to run?

I have some limitation to access Power Computer so i should install it on virtual server and virtual machine, is it possible ?

Yes, that's no problem, but you still need to connect to the server where the license is installed, by setting the environment variable QUANTUM_LICENSE_PATH to 6200@x.x.x.x where x.x.x.x is the IP address (or hostname) of the license server.

Thanks so much dear Dr.Blom,
but in Quantum Wise tutorial  I couldn't find how should I  set 6200@x.x.x.x  in my virtual machine that i installed ATK on it!
I'm so sorry  to ask it again.
