Hi,
I have my license server ( floating license ) running in my own computer ( windows 8 ). I wonder if there a way to invoke this license from other computer with Linux system?

Yes there is no platform-dependence in the license system. You just need to make sure the ports are open in the Windows (and Linux) firewalls, then point your Linux machine to the IP address of the Windows machine.,
