a little bug of refresh the LabFloor for nc files in VNL2016.3

this err only found in 2016.3, and 2016.1 works fine.

when I copied a nc file into the project folder, there will be noting for this nc file in LabFloor .   I can see it only until I re-opened the project.

Could you tell us what platform you are using (windows, mac, ubuntu, ...) and send us the nc-file that is causing problems?

Just to be clear: When you say "copy", do you mean that you copy the file into a folder in a directory in the project, or do you use VNL's import function?

We are not able to reproduce your problem at the moment. Could I ask you to do the following:
1. Take a screenshot of VNL (where the labfloor and files are shown)
2. Take a screenshot of Preferences (located under the menu File->Preferences)

This may give us an idea about what the problem could be.

Yes, I do mean copy the file into a folder in a directory in the project.
However, I tried in a new project, without any nc file in it. And found that all nc file will show in Labfloor.  That to say the err does not exist.

Then, what confused me to think there is a err, is the sorting of name in the Labfloor. As shown in the attachment figure, the au-*.nc is inside the b**.nc.

in the past, them should be listed by name. and if we copy a new nc file into the project folder, or click to chose a nc file, this file will listed in the bottom of Labfloor.
it is convenience for me to find a nc file in Labfloor.

However, now, I am exactly do not know where to find my nc file from a lot of files.

We are not able to reproduce the problem. I do not quite understand what you mean by "...the au-*.nc is inside the b**.nc.". To me it just looks like you have way more items on the LabFloor than needed. Perhaps some of the NC data files can be unchecked i nthe Project Files list?

Does it work if you unselect all NC files in the Project Files list (right-click -> Uncheck all), and then manually check the NC file that you copied onto the project directory?

I means in the past, all name will listed in Alphabetical order.  which is very convenience to find what I want from a lot of objects in Labfloor.

Now, in the 2016.3,  I can't expect from where to find a nc-object.   I said the "au-*"  in inside the "b-*", means that, I can't understand why the letter "A" is listed inside "B"

You just need to change the sort method of them to be as the same as older visions. i.e.,   sort by Alphabetical order, and if copy in a new file or click a new file, list them at the end of the list of Labfloor.

I'm glad to hear that the issue somehow resolved itself, after you created a new project. Since we are not able to reproduce the problem, we will not investigate this further. Please let us know if the problem starts appearing again.

The labfloor has never explicitly had any sorting, but it may have happened by chance. I have created a suggestion, so this may be implemented in the future.
