I just wanted to know_
how can I remove the display of legends on a "Projected Density of States"  diagram ?

Did you try to use customize on the right hand side click of mouse?
There are some options for the figure.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to do it in the 2`018 version, but this must be fixed in the next release.

why have you incorporated del_VH and del_VE separately ? Does del_VH portray any physical phenomenon which is not captured by del_VE?

It is just a matter of convention - some people prefer one, some the other.

How does the vacuum region included in any system, largely effect the VH?

No. As i said, it is just a matter of which convention you want to use - some people prefer the Hartree potential convention, some prefer the electrostatic potential convention. Could you elaborate on your question about vacuum?
