about ATK 12.8 - second beta-version

Dear ATK team,

I need some features as described in the ATK 12.8 - second beta-version. Is this version final ? or a new version will come later ? Why it is 12.8 ?, the version of 3rd July is 12.2.2.

It is not completely final, but very close to. There will be a final release very soon.

The version numbering is slightly off because our release schedule slipped a bit But normally we intend to release twice per year, in February and August, hence 2 and 8. (Then there may be bug fixes and updates to those, like 12.2.2 which of course are released later).

Is it possible to have thermoelectric properties calculation script/plugin included ? spin-orbit coupling is also necessary.

Spin-orbit will be implemented in the following version, but not in 12.8.

As for the thermoelectric scripts, they will not be included in the package, but the ones available from the Forum -like here work in 12.8 too of course.
